Director
In his role as Director of the Graduate Teaching
Center, Bill Rando oversees the programs and functioning of the
Center, heads its research and assessment activities, assists University
committees on topics relevant to graduate teaching, seeks out new
campus initiatives, and collaborates with members of the Teaching
Consultant Staff to design and deliver programs that enhance the
quality of teaching at Yale.
Bill also provides individual teaching consultation
to anyone teaching at Yale. He is available by appointment or on

Director
In her role as Associate Director of the Graduate
Teaching Center, Jennifer Frederick works in partnership with the
Director, Bill Rando to develop, plan and implement programs and
assessment activities to enhance teaching by graduate students
in the Sciences. Jennifer is available for consultations with graduate
student instructors as well as faculty members regarding teaching
and learning issues. She is available by appointment or on a walk-in
