Graduate students who are appointed as McDougal Fellows deliver programs in the areas listed below. They coordinate activities among student groups and various offices of University, assist with New Student Orientation, and respond to inquiries about life in New Haven and at Yale.
Every year in late March, the Graduate School accepts applications from students who wish to serve as McDougal Fellows for the following academic year. Selection criteria include programming experience, a capacity for teamwork, and a demonstrated willingness and ability to serve the graduate student community. Fellows receive a modest honorarium for their service, which averages five to eight hours per week. Please contact the Coordinating Fellow for additional information.
