public Service at the McDougal Center

Public Service Fellows 2007-08
Regina Bateson, Political Science 2012
Patricia Maloney, Sociology 2012
Mcdougal.service@yale.edu

The Public Service Fellows provide graduate students with opportunities to get involved in the greater New Haven community. Throughout the year, we assemble groups of graduate students to contribute to New Haven through service trips and fundraisers. We also hope to provide opportunities for students to discuss and reflect upon their role as citizen scholars and public intellectuals. As Fellows, we help students get in contact with organizations in need of tutors, organize blood and food drives, help students find volunteering opportunities with local educational and immigrant organizations, and promote graduate student engagement with society.
