The Graduate School organizes its main diploma ceremony for Graduate School degree candidates, held at Woolsey Hall, immediately after the University Commencement Ceremony. A separate ceremony is also held at Macmillan Center at Luce Hall for several MA programs in the Graduate School. See the University Commencement site for general information and forms.

Graduate School Commencement Memo & Checklist provides GS degree candidates with specific information and a checklist of things to do.

GS Commencement Attendance Card. Whether or not you plan to attend, all GSAS degree candidates must complete this card by May 1.

CAP & GOWN INFORMATION
Information on renting or purchasing appropriate academic attire, namely cap, gown and hood, is available online at the Cap and Gown page on the University Commencement site. Please adhere to the MARCH 30 DEADLINE for cap and gown rental to insure delivery of proper attire on time; rental orders can be accepted, with a late fee, until mid-April. If you miss the April deadlines, last-minute rentals will be available at Payne Whitney Gym for 5 days immediately before Commencement. See the Cap and Gown page for times and last-minute rental fees. Those students who pre-order between February 1 and March 30 have an opportunity to order online and pay by credit card.
