room requests in the mcDougal Graduate
Student Center
Events sponsored by the McDougal Center
and Graduate School offices have priority in room use, followed
by Graduate Student organizations such as the GSA, and other grad
student groups.
All events and groups using McDougal Center rooms must involve,
serve or be organized by GRADUATE STUDENTS directly.
Undergraduate student groups or events may not use the rooms of
the McDougal Graduate Student Center.

Please read the FAQs
before requesting a room. Once requests are made, a member
of the McDougal Center Staff will confirm requests by phone or by
email within three working days. Please
plan ahead.
The
McDougal Center will try to accommodate room requests on a first

Detailed Room Guidelines
General Center Room Use Policies
Common Room Policy.
The Common Room of the McDougal Center, Room 165 HGS, may not be reserved
for any function or event organized by a graduate student group
or university department, or for private social functions. As its
name implies, it is a Common Room for informal use by all members
of the graduate student community whenever the Center is open. Small
(less than 10) informal groups, such as study groups, TF office
hours, game tables, or language tables may gather in the Common
Room providing there is space available and that their activities
do not disrupt the other patrons of the Center. Occasionally, the
Common Room is used for Dean's events or McDougal Center Programs
open to all.
