‘More Than Just a Game: Rugby and Racial Politics in South Africa.’
Joshua Rubin (Anthropology) studies the role of rugby
in South African politics and race relations, tracing the historical impact of
the sport from the 19th century, through the
anti-apartheid movement, to the current day.
This year, Graduate School Convocation will take place Sunday, May 19, and Commencement Monday, May 20.
