Online Databases for Fellowships & Grants

The GSAS Fellowship Database, formerly published in an annual paper edition as the Graduate School Fellowship Guide, provides direct access to several hundred grant and fellowship opportunities both at Yale and beyond. Please be sure to contact the granting agency with questions or to confirm deadlines.

The Yale Grants & Fellowships database contains announcements and application instructions for all Yale-administered funding. All Graduate School fellowships require applicants to submit a registration page generated through this database.

IRIS (Illinios Researcher Information Services) is a searchable online database of fellowships and scholarships offered outside of Yale.

The Chronicle of Higher Education posts weekly announcements and deadlines for many of the major fellowships. The magazine is also available in the McDougal Center Common Room in HGS.
