Research & Fellowships
for Diverse Students
The Office for Diversity and Equal Opportunity is available
to assist graduate students with research and fellowship
applications on an individual basis. The Office also sponsors
two fellowship
application workshops each year, which provides students
with an overview of the fellowship application process and
a detailed
review of the variety of fellowship opportunities available
for diverse students.
Dean Cariaga-Lo is available for individual
consultation regarding fellowship opportunities for Yale
graduate students.

Office administers to research opportunities aimed at increasing
the pool of diverse students entering graduate programs in
all discipline areas:
Yale Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship
(SURF) Program
Yale Post-baccalaureate Research Education
Program (PREP)
