Reapplication

Previous applicants to the Graduate School and applicants who declined a previous offer of admission must submit a new application indicating the year for which their previous application was submitted (for example, if you submitted your application in September, 2010 for the Fall 2011 entering class you should list 2011 in response to the “previously applied to…” question in the online application.

The new application must include all required documents such as the Statement of purpose and any writing samples that may be required, transcripts, letters of recommendation,the application fee, and any other credentials desired to support your application, even if such materials were already included in a prior year application.

Your prior year application may be combined with your current year application if it is requested by your Program.

As noted above under Policies, applicants who have been denied admission three times by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, whether by one or more departments, may not file further applications.
