On behalf of the Graduate Housing Office, welcome to the Yale graduate community! Whether you are coming to Yale as a single student, or as a family, a variety of housing options are available to you. It is the goal of the Graduate Housing Office to provide opportunities for graduate and professional students to develop a sense of community while residing in University Housing. You may take advantage of social functions planned specifically for the dormitory or apartment where you live, joining a residence council, child playgroups and educational forums on relevant topics for students and their families. The possibilities are as varied as those who wish to participate.
The Graduate Housing experience is unique. The benefits and rewards of living in the Yale graduate community are long lasting.
Unfortunately, University Housing is not available for all those who may be eligible due to space constraints. Applications are accepted starting April 1st and the assignment process will begin mid to late April.
Graduate Housing is administered out of two offices located on the ground floor of Helen Hadley Hall, 420 Temple Street, a graduate dormitory. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
