The Graduate & Professional School Housing Office does not supply housing for individuals who are not full-time students enrolled in a degree-granting, tuition paying program.
Individuals looking for short-term housing can access the Off-Campus Housing Listing Service to find accommodations via a sub-let, furnished apartment available for short-term stays, or at a local hotel or Bed & Breakfast.
Faculty and Staff of Yale University can search University Properties for available apartments and houses in the local area. Human Resources can also share more information about the Yale Homebuyer Program or the Commuter Benefits Program.
Visiting Researchers and Hospital Residents can contact the Graduate Dormitory Housing Office at grad.dorms@yale.edu. When there is a vacant dormitory room available, occasional exceptions can be made to assist individuals for a short period of time, depending on the time of the year and the anticipated length of stay.
