Eligibility

Students currently enrolled in, or are matriculating into the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences or other Professional Schools at Yale, are eligible for housing. Availability

Unfortunately, the Graduate Housing Office does not have sufficient numbers of dormitory rooms or apartments to accommodate all applicants. Applicants are encouraged to continue looking for other housing accommodations as we do not guarantee every applicant a room or apartment.

Graduate Dining Halls in HGS and ES Harkness Hall

Two of the graduate dormitories, ES Harkness Hall and HGS, have Dining Halls. Marigold’s is located in ES Harkness Hall and the HGS Dining Hall is located in the Hall of Graduate Studies. While the Graduate Housing and Dining Services offices operate separately, students who are assigned into HGS or Harkness, will automatically be enrolled in the residential meal plan for their dining hall. To learn more about these meal plans and their respective costs, please visit the Dining Services website.
