Located a block from the Art and Architecture School, the York Crown Apartments are very convenient to the Drama, Art, Architecture, Law and Medical Schools, as well as the central campus. Converted from original townhouse-type dwellings, many of these apartments have interesting design features. There are 22 apartments: five efficiencies, sixteen one-bedrooms and one two-bedroom unit. All units are carpeted with vinyl tile flooring in the kitchens and bathrooms. Each is equipped with mini-blinds on the bedroom and living room windows.
A charming courtyard includes a barbecue grill and picnic area for small gatherings. A Residence Life Coordinator facilitates a community atmosphere by planning social events and activities throughout the year. Due to the lack of exterior space these apartments are not suitable for children. |
