Dormitories - 276 Prospect

This distinctive Victorian era four level brick structure has 34 student rooms. The four smallest rooms are located in the ground/basement level. There are 9 coed bathrooms throughout the building with showers; one has a tub. The two kitchens, on ground and second floor levels, foster a strong sense of community among residents. Each kitchen is furnished with stoves, refrigerators (shared by 2 residents and cleaned by same), microwaves, toasters, and cupboard space. Residents provide their own cookware. All residents must participate in scheduled kitchen cleaning duties. Most rooms are carpeted and the various size windows have mini blinds. The comfortable and pleasantly furnished lounge/reading area in the entry area also has a piano.

The adjoining common room features cable TV with VCR (weekend movies together are common), a working fireplace, ping pong table, game table and vending machine. Other amenities include a computer room, direct delivery of US Mail and private carriers, laundry room, ground level bicycle and storage room and a small backyard with picnic tables and barbecue.
