German Proficiency Exam for Reading / Translation Exam for Graduate Students

(for graduate students who have to fulfill a foreign language requirement)

Place: 493 College Street Room 105
Dictionary may be used.

The exam consists of two passages in German to be translated into idiomatic English. The two passages are usually taken from different disciplines. A detailed description and sample texts can be downloaded here: Sample texts, part 1 and Sample text, part 2.
