Atmospheric Physics and Climate Dynamics Search
The Department of Geology & Geophysics at Yale University solicits applications for a faculty position in the field of Atmospheric Physics and Climate Dynamics. The opening is for a tenure track junior level position, although exceptionally qualified senior candidates will also be considered. We seek outstanding scientists working in such fields as: atmospheric physics, the physics of clouds and their impact on climate, radiative transfer, global circulation, geophysical fluid dynamics, air-sea interaction, remote sensing, as well as global and regional climate theory and modern and paleoclimate modeling. This search is also affiliated with a larger climate research initiative at Yale.
