Kenneth Cornell Memorial Grant



Undergraduate Level


The purpose of this grant is to support undergraduate research in all fields of French and Francophone studies. Grants may be used for travel to France or a French-speaking country, to conduct research. Students from any department and any year may apply, but priority will be given to French majors who are researching a senior essay in French, and to students in other departments whose senior essays are devoted to French or Francophone subjects.

Grants will be awarded at three moments over the course of the academic year. Applicants should submit a detailed one-page research plan (equivalent to a senior essay prospectus) and a short budget to the DUS of French by one of the following dates:

The purpose of this grant is to provide support to qualified students participating in summer study programs abroad where the language of instruction is French and which are aimed at the acquisition and consolidation of linguistic and cultural competency.

Graduate Level

 

The purpose of this rants is to provide support for graduate research in all fields of French and Francophone studies. Awards may be used for travel to France or a French-speaking country to conduct research.

Student from any department and any year whose research deals with French and Francophone subjectsmay apply but priority will be given to French Department graduate students.
