Who Owns America? II, a conference being organized and hosted by the North American Program of the University of Wisconsin's Land Tenure Center and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy (Cambridge, MA), is a sequel to their highly successful 1995 conference, which drew national media attention and rave reviews from participants. This conference will bring grassroots activists, academics, practitioners and policymakers together to discuss who controls the land and natural resources of North America and how that control is exercised. Plenary speakers include Jim Brown of the Lincoln Institute, Winona LaDuke of the White Earth Reservation, and Dr. Bernice Reagon of American University.
