FOOT will be over before you know it. After a short nap on the bus ride back to campus, you'll do one last cheer with your group. Then it's time to move into your new room and experience "Camp Yale." (and a nice hot shower!)

Since dormitories do not open until the day we arrive back from our trips, you will not be able to enter your new room until you return. Please bring only your hiking equipment and a small bag with a change of clothes to FOOT! You will be able to store this small bag. Please ship the rest of your belongings by air express, by bus, or by UPS (they will store it until you return), or have your parents drive up the rest of your belongings on the day you move in. We are sorry for any inconvenience our limited storage may cause. Don't let this prevent you from doing FOOT! We always work out any storage problems. If you have questions or concerns about moving in/storage, please let us know! We've got experience!

Your parents can get into your room early--around 9:00 AM--without you! They will be able to get your key and, say, make your bed for you, fold your t-shirts, set up your computer...

After a few days (or maybe sooner) you'll have a reunion with your FOOT group and leaders to check in and see how everything is going. Having been on FOOT, you'll be extremely well prepared to deal with everything that happens in the first few days of your college career. We hope you love Yale!
