Insurance/Certificates of Insurance
NEW PROCESS for Certificates of Insurance Effective 7/1/08
On July 01, 2008, the University implemented a change in the way we respond to requests for certificates of insurance. Vendors and other certificate requesters are now be able to obtain insurance information on line, and view and print copies of Memorandums of Insurance (MOI) at any time. This ability not only provides accurate and more timely information, it also helps to streamline the process and lessen the amount of time and resources involved for all parties. The Office of Risk Management will no longer provide certificates of insurance.
The MOI shows Yale’s current insurance program, including insurance companies, policy numbers, limits and effective and expiration dates. Additional information on additional insured or loss payee status can be found in the additional information section of the MOI.
Access the University’s
Memorandum of Insurance.
