Policies & Procedures Development
This office has overall responsibility for all business policy and procedural development for the University.
All University employees are expected to follow policies for their business practices and will be held responsible for their implementation.
The main functions of this department are:
- Develop new policies that provide clear guidelines to follow in daily administrative functions
- Ensure all interdependent policies are consistent with each other and broad University goals
- Identify the need and develop new procedures, instructions and forms to facilitate daily business practices
- Maintain the website that categorizes all the various policies, procedures, forms, guides, exhibits and various related instructions
- Communicate monthly with the business community, bringing them up to date about new revisions and changes in the policies, procedures, forms and applications
- Publish a Controller’s Office Fact Sheet annually at the start of each fiscal year that summarizes frequently used financial and administrative information
