Welcome to the “Payroll Department News” page. This page includes all new and important announcements from the Payroll Department such as information on all Payroll processing changes including holidays/recess changes, Paycheck dates at a glance for each month, Payroll news, and any Payroll information that is important to the Yale University community. This page is updated as needed but not less than once a month. Please bookmark this page and keep checking for important Payroll information.
Please Note: The Payroll Department is now located at 221 Whitney Avenue, 5th floor. All visitors should stop at the front desk in the lobby of 221 Whitney prior to proceeding to the Payroll Department. Payroll hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

January is W–2 time…
W–2s are now available online for you to view and/or print.
The login page for the Self Service Web W–2 application is located at http://www.yale.edu/finance/controller/payroll/index.html. The website includes detailed printing instructions, FAQs, related links, and other helpful information.
We realize that not every employee has access to a computer or printer. Therefore, the Payroll Department has a computer and printer set up for Yale employees to access and print Form W–2s. This computer is located at 221 Whitney Avenue on the 5th Floor in room 512.
For web browser or general technical assistance (including tax form viewing and printing), please contact the ITS Help Desk at 203.432.9000 or helpdesk@yale.edu. If you have forgotten your NetID password, visit https://veritas.its.yale.edu/netid/ForgotNetIDPassword.do. You will be asked to verify your identity by answering the security questions you chose when you activated your NetID. If you have forgotten the answers to your security questions, you will need a PIN to reset your NetID password. Please visit http://www.yale.edu/its/accounts/pin.html for information on how to obtain a PIN.

Direct Deposit your Payroll Payments

Yale University Payroll Department invites you to sign up for direct deposit. This is an easy and convenient way to receive your payroll payments.
Sign up is easy!!! Just complete the direct deposit form, and return to the Payroll department. Forms are located at the Payroll Department, Business offices and online.
