Kronos
is a timekeeping system that gathers information about employees'
work hours through time clocks that are installed throughout
the Yale campus. The time clock is equipped with a screen, a
keypad, and a vertical slot through which the employee swipes
his or her ID card to punch in and out. The time clock records
the employee's identity and the time he or she punches in or
out.
Timekeeper C/S (Client Server) is a database management system
that enables the supervisor to manage and control the many aspects
of timecard reporting for employees. Timekeeper C/S may be used
to:
View
and make changes to an employee's timecard
Sign
off on a timecard
Edit
pay codes and historical data
Add,
edit, or delete time clock punches
Transfer
hours to different labor accounts
Establish
group work schedules
Assign
employees to a group schedule or to an individual schedule
View,
create, and modify employee schedules
