The Financial Systems department, under the direction of the Associate Director of Financial Systems, is the functional owner of the Oracle financial applications. As such, they are responsible for establishing processes to ensure the proper integration of accounting and payroll flows throughout the entire Oracle application suite. In cooperation with other staff members in Financial Systems and Services they provide high quality accounting and payroll guidance and support.

Financial Systems is responsible for overseeing the following applications:

• Labor Distribution (LD), Policies and Procedures, Training Materials
• Grants Management, Policies and Procedures, Training Materials
• General Ledger, Policies and Procedures, Training Materials
• Payroll Operations, Policies and Procedures, Training Materials
• Journal Staging Area (JSA), Policies and Procedures, Training Materials
• Custom Commitments, Policies and Procedures, Training Materials
