The mission of the Shared Science Service Branch is to establish, direct and manage an Administrative and Business Affairs Branch serving the Yale University Science units on central campus.  To accomplish this goal, the Branch should facilitate sound and efficient internal controls, deploy good financial business practices and serve as a strategic partner with FAS Science department administrators and faculty.  In essence, to deliver central services to the eighteen departments and programs better, faster and at less cost.
