David is the Senior Director of Business Operations for Science and Technology. In this capacity he supervisors the Business Operations of the 28 Departments, Areas and Schools that come under the direction of the Deputy Provost for Science and Technology and the School of Nursing. Joining Yale in 2001, David was hired to establish the Shared Science Service Branch, a new concept of maximizing business office support to the Faculty, Students and Staff while minimizing costs and duplication of efforts. Prior to coming to Yale David spent 10 years at Roger Williams University in roles that included Dean of Student Services and the Dean of the Metropolitan College, RWU’s School of Continuing Educations. David was also a member of the Roger Williams Adjunct Faculty. In 1995 he was voted the “Outstanding Teacher of the Year” at the University for his teaching of Business Ethics, Financial Management and Strategic Planning. Over the past four years David has served on three NESCA Accreditation Teams concentrating on the Standards for Facilities and Financial Stability. He is married and has three children.
