We are proudly celebrating the release of our first issue. Look out for the official launch event in the coming weeks! To read the inaugural issue of Fiat Lux, see our publications page.
During the Fall, Fiat Lux sponsored a group discussion on the meaning of life with former Dean of the Yale Law School, Professor Anthony Kronman and Rabbi Jim Ponet of the Slifka Center. The event was co-sponsored by Slifka. The event was well attended and we look forward to sponsoring similar events in the near future.
On behalf of the Fiat Lux editorial board, we congratulate Meredith Williams on her winning entry to our Fall essay competition. Entrants were asked to write 500 words on the question "What should the role of religion be at Yale?" Meredith's winning essay is published in the inaugural copy of Fiat Lux. To read it, download Fiat Lux Vol. 1, No. 1 from our publications page. Meredith will receive a $100 prize.
