These pie chart depict the forest composition of Saltonstall Ridge in 1991-1999. From these chart
it is clear that there are a few species dominating the ecosystem.

Although it is difficult to see, one of the largest increases in biomass occured in the species
Ailanthus altissima. This species had a net biomass increase of 243 times over an 8 year period!
