Housing
A limited amount of discounted lodging ($99/night) is available at the Courtyard by Marriott at Yale; call 203-777-6221 by March 2 (mention “Coalition for Ministry in Daily Life Consultation 2005”). Attendees are responsible for arranging their own lodging.
Cost
The consultation registration fee of $149 ($125 for early bird registration by March 2) covers three meals (Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner), materials, the opening wine-cheese reception, and coffee breaks. The deadline for registration is March 25. Limited scholarship aid is available, especially for attendees in their twenties and thirties.
Working Retreat
Participants in the CMDL consultation will have the opportunity to continue their reflections and conversations at a post-consultation working retreat, to begin 4:30 pm on Sunday, April 3, and to continue through lunch on Tuesday, April 5.
The retreat will be held at Mercy Center in Madison, Connecticut, on Long Island Sound.
Retreat participants will formulate their own agendas for this time together, with the expectation being that a major part of their conversations will focus on the implications for CMDL’s future work (including the 2006 consultation at Fuller Seminary) of insights that have emerged during the weekend in New Haven.
The total cost of lodging and meals for each person will be either $152 (twin bed, double occupancy, central bath); $182 (single room, central bath); or $205 (single room, private bath).
Participants at the working retreats following the last two consultations, in 2003 and 2004, have found them to be a rich time for deepening personal bonds and commitments.
Checks to cover retreat costs, made out to CMDL, should be sent no later than March 21 to Rev. John Lewis, 315 East Pecan St., San Antonio, TX 78205
