Class of 1964 Summer Fellowship For Juniors
The Yale Class of 1964 is offering
a travel fellowship for the summer of 2004 in an amount up to $3,000 to a
junior interested in environmental studies.
The Fellowship will be administered by the School of Forestry and
Environmental Studies. The purpose of
the fellowship is to encourage students to pursue a project or activity away
from New Haven during the summer preceding the senior year, a project that
would probably not otherwise be possible.
Your proposal should relate to an environmental issue and should be one
that expands your horizons into an area unfamiliar or challenging to you. If your proposal is accepted and you are
awarded a fellowship, you will be asked to give a report in person to a Class
of 1964 meeting in New Haven during your senior year. The application deadline is Monday March 1, 2004.
