Summer Research Grants
Summer research grants are available to facilitate work on senior essay projects. These grants are intended to meet expenses for travel, fieldwork, library research, interviewing, or other activities connected with that project, and provide an opportunity to begin serious work prior to the senior year. Grants are rarely more than $750 so students are encouraged to apply to many sources for larger requests.
Requests for these grants should be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by Monday, March 26, 2010. Applications should include a statement about the research project, an outline of how the proposed research is related to that project, a budget, and a letter of support from a faculty adviser. There is no application form.
