INTERESTS: Mokhtar Ghambou teaches and writes on postcolonial literature and theory, the modern American novel, and world literature. His fields of interest also include English and French Orientalism, minority literature, Mediterranean studies, desert fiction, and theories of migration. His book, Nomadism and its Frontiers forthcoming), explores the aesthetics and politics of mobility in literature, ethnography, history, and critical theory.
