Contemporary Poetry Colloquium
Events 2007-2008
The Contemporary Poetry Colloquium facilitates the exposure, appreciation, and discussion of contemporary poetry among students, faculty members, and poets beyond Yale. To those ends, the colloquium offers three programs: the Contemporary Poetry Reading Group, which meets several times a semester to discuss the recent work of poets selected by graduate student and faculty participants; the Graduate Poets' Reading Series, which features guest poets together with graduate student writers; and occasional poetry writing workshops for graduate students at the Beinecke Library.
