YEMS offers classes for a two-year CPR certification and re-certification through the Emergency Care and Safety Institute to the faculty, staff, and students of Yale University, as well as community members. ECSI certified instructors teach all classes. Participants receive appropriate certification upon successful completion of a course. Participants must be 12 years of age or older. Class size is limited. Fees include books, materials, certification cards, and instructor compensation.

Note: Advanced registration is required for all courses.
