Yale Universal Waste Recycling Requests

Now, there's an easier way to request the pick up of used electronics for recycling. All requests will now be made through the web at:
https://universalwaste.med.yale.edu/user.

You will no longer be required to fill out a pick up request sheet for faxing or emailing to our office. You simply log in to the web page and create your online request. You will be able to see the status of your request at any time. Print and fill out the waste tag and adhere the completed tag to your equipment so that only waste is removed from your pick up area. You may download the tag here: universalwaste.med.yale.edu/i/OEHS_Universal_
Waste_tag.doc.

If your department has computers, fax machines, phones, pagers, printers or any other used electronic equipment used to store or transfer information or used for entertainment purposes, please use this new online system to request their removal.

Please continue to allow 1-2 weeks for waste to be removed once you have completed the online request process. If you have any questions concerning this new procedure, please call the Environmental Affairs waste request line at 432-6545 or please visit our universal waste training program at:
http://www.yale.edu/oehs/onlinetraining/
