Biosafety Training

Safety training programs include Bloodborne Pathogens, General Biosafety, Shipping/Transport of Infectious Substances, Work with HIV, Tuberculosis, BL3 Laboratory Training and the Safe Use of Biological Safety Cabinets. Training programs are provided as general campus sessions or can be arranged specifically for your department or laboratory group.

P.I. Orientation to Yale's Biological Safety Manual, Procedures & Policies Training
This training focuses on Principal Investigator requirements for registering work and training employees, occupational health requirements when working with biohazardous materials, incident response, protocol risk assessment, decontamination procedures, PPE requirements and shipping procedures. The University's Training Management System will notify you if you need to complete this requirement.
