Effective Use of a Biosafety Cabinet

This video describes the procedures to follow when working in a biosafety cabinet to minimize your exposure to bioaerosols and prevent contamination of your cultures. It covers how to disinfect, load, and lay out your materials in a cabinet, what to wear and how to conduct your work within a cabinet, as well as how to disinfect, unload, and shut down a cabinet. Web streamed videos can be viewed at your workstation as long as you have RealOne player installed on your computer system and and have an internet connection capable of sustaining a 250 Kbyte/second baud rate (T1, DSL, Cable, etc).
