Yale Academic Skills Clinic (YASC) provides services for children and youth with learning differences throughout the state of Connecticut and in eastern New York. The Clinic services children with special educational needs across a variety of developmental disorders and typically developing children. We provide evaluations, comments on current services received by the child, recommendations for PPTs and IEPs, and referrals to practitioners in the area for specific preventive and remedial services.

Staff
Our staff is trained in a number of disciplines, and has extensive experience working in the areas of special educational needs, developmental disabilities, children adopted from overseas, and genetic disorders.

Scheduling an Appointment
To talk to a clinician about your child, please call the clinic’s coordinator, Ms. Cheri Stahl, by phone at 203-785-4239 or by email. She will obtain some information about your child, discuss fees, and send you a packet of information to complete and return. When the information has been returned, she will schedule a parent interview.
