Applications are being accepted for a postdoctoral position at the Child Study Center, Yale University. This position will be funded by multiple federal grants looking at genetic causes of child developmental disorders. A strong applicant will have experience in laboratory protocols involved in DNA/RNA extraction and processing, and genetic and genomic analyses. Ongoing research includes studies of learning and language difficulties, conduct disorders, childhood development factors including prenatal drug exposure and maternal neglect, and autism spectrum disorders. The position is available for 12 months beginning August 1st, 2009 (or earlier) and is renewable every year. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. The Child Study Center and Department of Statistics, Yale University, are accepting applications for postdoctoral positions. Individuals interested in statistical applications to the analyses of complex conditions such as autism, language disorders, learning disroders, and conduct disorders, utilizing health, behavioral, and genetic data are welcome to apply.
