By CAR:
From Boston:
1. Take I-90 (Mass Pike) West,
2. Exit at Exit 9 (I-84 exit),
3. Travel on I-84 West,
4. Take I-91 South exit to New Haven/New York City,
5. Exit at Exit 3 (Trumbull Street),
6. Turn left onto Temple Street,
7. Continue on Temple Street, through three traffic
lights.
8. The Omni New Haven will be in the next block, on your
left.
From New York City:
1. Take FDR Drive North,
2. Take the Triborough Bridge exit,
3. Merge onto the Triborough Bridge,
4. Take I-278 East exit on left towards I-87 North,
5. Merge onto I-287 East,
6. Take I-287 East/Bruckner Expressway toward New
England,
7. Bruckner Expressway becomes New England Thruway, which
becomes I-95 North, which becomes I-95 East.
8. Take I-95 East to I-91 North (left exit) at New Haven,
9. Exit at exit 3 (Trumbull Street),
10. Turn left onto Temple Street,
11. Continue on Temple Street, through three traffic
lights.
12. The Omni New Haven will be in the next block, on your
left.
TWEED-NEW HAVEN AIRPORT, New Haven, CT

The nearest airport to Yale University is the Tweed-New
Haven Airport, which is serviced by US
Airways Express with connections via Washington National and
Philadelphia. For reservations, call
US Airways directly at 1-800-428-4322.
A taxi ride from Tweed-New Haven will cost around $10 (see BY TAXI, below).
BRADLEY
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Hartford, CT http://www.bradleyairport.com
From Bradley International, several different shuttle
services offer transportation to New Haven:

Connecticut Limousine (1-800-472-5466) is probably
the cheapest form of transportation to New Haven. Courtesy phones are available inside the airport. The buses will make several stops, making
the trip last one-and-a-half to two hours.
It costs $21.00 one way, and $38.00 round-trip. The buses will drop you off at Connecticut
Limo’s Long Wharf terminal in New Haven, at which point you will need to take
a taxi to the Omni Hotel (see BY TAXI,
below).

Peter Pan’s Airport Connection bus will
take you from Bradley to their Hartford terminal, where you can take a Peter
Pan bus to New Haven’s Union Station.
The trip will cost about $21, and last approximately an hour and a
half. You will then need to take a
taxi to the Omni Hotel (see BY TAXI,
below). Be forewarned: Airport
Connections are often not available on weekends.

A Yellow Cab can take you directly from
Bradley to the Omni Hotel in New Haven, the cost of which will run between
$76-80.
LA
GUARDIA, JFK, AND NEWARK AIRPORTS, New York, NY
Airline fares to the New York airports may offer more
competitive prices than flying into Tweed-New Haven, but be sure to factor in
the cost of shuttle/train service from New York to New Haven.

phones are available inside the airports.
The buses will make several stops, making the trip last two-and-a-half
to three hours. From La Guardia or
JFK, the one-way fare is $38.00, and round-trip costs $72. From Newark, the one-way fare is $41.00,
while round-trip costs $78.00. The buses will drop you off at their Long
Wharf terminal in New Haven, at which point you will need to take a taxi to
the Omni Hotel (see BY TAXI,
below).

PrimeTime (1-800-733-8267) offers $53.00
shuttle service from JFK and LaGuardia to New Haven.

There’s also the
alternative of taking a carey bus or taxi from La Guardia or JFK to Grand
Central, where you could catch a Metro-North
train to New Haven (see BY TRAIN,

Trains run between New York Grand Central Station and New Haven, CT only. One-way tickets are $14.75, round-trip
tickets are $23.00.
From the
New Haven train station, Union Station, you may either walk or take a taxi
(recommended).

The Omni New Haven
Hotel is a 10-minute walk. Walk up
Crown Street for three blocks. Make a
right onto Temple Street, and the hotel will be down the block, on your
right. Walking at night is
discouraged.

A few taxis are
usually waiting outside the train station. A taxi ride will cost around
$4-5. See BY TAXI, below.
There will
typically be a few taxis waiting outside the Union Station bus terminal and
train station. If there are none
available, you can call one of the following taxi services below. Fare will run about $4-5 from the train
station, and $10 from Tweed-New Haven Airport.
