Yale Digital Media Center for the Arts


The Digital Media Center for the Arts at Yale is a multimedia facility created to establish connections between traditional art and the computer age, located at 149 York Street.

The DMCA is open Monday through Friday, 9am-10pm, and Sundays, 12n-10pm. The equipment booth hours are 9am-5pm Monday through Friday. The DMCA is not open for general use in the Summer. For information email the DMCA


Access to the DMCA is available only to faculty, staff, and students of Yale's Arts Departments and Institutions.  Individuals who meet the criteria may apply for DMCA access online.

Accessed users will receive card key access to our general labs and be permitted to borrow DMCA equipment.  Those wishing to use our advanced labs and equipment must also submit a special project application.
