In the Ocean of Streams of Story
| Grahame Weinbrens
interactive cinema installations have been exhibited since
the mid-eighties in museums, galleries, and festivals including
the Whitney
Museum, the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, the Centre
Pompidou,
the ICA in London, the Bonn Kunsthalle, and the Kwangju (Korea)
Biennale. He has made films since the early seventies: his
most recent
feature length documentary, George, a collaboration with Henry
Corra, will
be shown on HBO later this year. He has written and lectured
internationally
about cinema, interactivity, and new technology; and he is
an editor
of the Millennium Film Journal. He is currently working on
a three screen
interactive installation for the 1999 Biennial of the NTT
InterCommunications
Center in Tokyo. |
