Yale Digital Media Center for the Arts


DMCA Labs may be reserved for term time or special classes for instructors in Yale's Arts Departments or Arts Insitutions whose curriculum require the use of our unique equipment. In general such classes include advanced architectural topics, technical design and drafting, video production classes, graphics and graphics technology, multi-media, music technology. Registrars or instructors should contact the DMCA or submit a class request form.   Special hardware and software required for classes must be discussed with staff for installation by July for fall term classes and Nov for spring term classes.  


During the academic year we are generally open Mondays through Fridays, 9am-10pm, and Sundays, 12n-10pm. 



During the fall term the DMCA offers a series of workshops on both Graphics and Media topics. The current offerings are listed on our workshop page. Instructors should contact Lee Faulkner or Ken Lovell to incorporate a suitable workshop into their class offerings. Topics usually offered include:
