     Susan Olson '93 serves as the Acting Director of Supervised Ministries in addition to her permanent position as the first Director of Divinity Career Services at Yale Divinity School. An ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Reverend Olson's pastoral experience includes 10 years of full time and 4 years of part-time college chaplaincy as well as part time experience as a youth pastor and as a church camp music director. Her eclectic career path has also included teaching elementary school, high school and college courses, directing two summer camps, running an undergraduate residence hall, serving as a college Dean of Students, and working in the YDS admissions office. In addition to her career services responsibilities, Susan Olson is a teaching fellow in Homiletics.
     Susan Olson is the founder of The Young Clergy Women Project, a Louisville Institute funded project aimed at resourcing and researching the youngest ordained women.  The organization has an international membership of nearly 400, an e-zine at www.youngclergywomen.org, and recently secured a contract with Chalice Press for a series of books written by young women clergy. The Rev. Olson serves as organizational editor for that series.
      Susan enjoys music of all kinds, the out-of-doors and children. She is an active volunteer for the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and Boggy Creek Gang Camp, which provide free summer camp experiences for children with life threatening illnesses. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Michigan State University and Yale Divinity School.
