Carmen Germino '07 M.Div. has been appointed interim director of alumni relations at Yale Divinity School. The appointment is for one year, during which the Divinity School will conduct a national search for a permanent director.>Go to story

A memorial service for Letty Mandeville Russell, one of the world's foremost feminist theologians and longtime member of the Yale Divinity School faculty, will be held on Oct. 23, in Marquand Chapel, Yale Divinity School, at 5:00 p.m., followed by a reception in the Common Room. Contributions to a book of remembrances may be sent via email as an attachment to grace.pauls@yale.edu by Friday, October 22, with the subject line "Russell Memorial Service." >Go to obituary

The “Sacred Spaces” exhibit will be the featured art presentation at the Institute of Sacred Music during Convocation and Reunions week. The exhibit is of photographs by Robert A. Lisak, representing forty houses of worship of diverse faith traditions in the New Haven area. >Go to story

Berkeley Divinity School Gatherings During Convocation

In addition to the various reunions and lectures during Convocation, Berkeley Divinity School will host its Board of Trustees, National Advisory Council, Graduate Society, and Capital Campaign Steering Committee—each focused on the Berkeley>>tomorrow campaign, including updates on the schools, leadership, environmental, and urban initiatives. All of the groups gather for Evensong on Wednesday at 5:30 pm, including the conferral of honorary degrees on three prominent women leaders in the church. Then comes a reception, followed by the annual Graduate Society banquet at which each of the three doctorands will have opportunity to discuss their leadership roles.
