Panel at National Press Club to explore "Faith and Citizenship: The Conversation in 2008"

Yale alumni and friends will gather Dec. 6, 5:00-6:30 p.m. at the National Press Club-529 14 th St., NW, Washington, DC 20045 (Holeman Lounge)-for a special release event of the fall issue of Yale Divinity School's nationally acclaimed magazine Reflections , which explores the topic "Faith and Citizenship in Turbulent Times."

The event will feature a reception and panel with selected writers who contributed to the fall issue, speaking on "Faith and Citizenship: The Conversation in 2008."

Confirmed panelists include: Rev. Jennifer Butler, Executive Dir., Faith in Public Life; Washington Post Columnist E.J. Dionne; Prof. Serene Jones, Yale Divinity School; Congressman David Price '64 B.D. '69 Ph.D. of North Carolina, chair of the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee; Prof. Harry Stout, Yale Divinity School, author of the book Upon the Altar of the Nation: A Moral History of the Civil War; Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, former Lt. Governor of Maryland and author of Failing America's Faithful: How Today's Churches Are Mixing God with Politics and Losing Their Way ;  Ray Waddle, Editor, Reflections.
