Professor Hultin’s research interests include Christian and Jewish discourse about the Law, Pauline studies, and the history of the late Second Temple period. He is also interested in the implications of historical criticism for contemporary theology. He has presented papers at academic conferences on Galatians, Colossians, Clement of Alexandria, Genesis Rabbah, and the Messianic Secret. His current writing projects include a book about early Christian views of obscene speech. Future projects will investigate early Christian strategies for claiming the legacies of Peter, Jude, and Paul.
