Career Services Staff
Susan Olson '93 serves as the first Director of Divinity Career Services. An ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Reverend Olson's pastoral experience includes 10 years of full time college chaplaincy as well as part time experience as a youth pastor and as a church camp music director. She has also taught elementary school, high school and college courses, directed two summer camps, run an undergraduate residence hall, served as a college Dean of Students, and worked in YDS admissions.
In addition to her career services responsibilities, Susan Olson is a teaching fellow at YDS, assisting in classes in counseling, preaching and campus ministry. She also works part time in the University Chaplain's Office.
Susan enjoys music of all kinds, the out-of-doors and children. She is an active volunteer for the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and Boggy Creek Gang Camp, which provide free summer camp experiences for children with life threatening illnesses.
