Hodel, Paul '90, '92 M.Div.
After earning his B.A. in Political Science from Wittenberg University, Paul Hodel worked as Director of the Peace Education and Action Center of the Winder City Parish and Peace and Justice Action in New Haven, from 1977 to 1988. He entered Yale Divinity School in 1989, earning his M.Div. degree in 1992. During his time at YDS, Mr. Hodel served as Chaplain at Hospital of St. Raphael and Pastoral Counselor at The Pastoral Center in New Haven.
Mr. Hodel went on to earn his Master of Social Work degree from Southern Connecticut State University in 1994, after which he served as a Clinical Social Worker at Family Counseling of Greater New Haven, from 1994 to 1996. From 1996 to 2000, he served as Counselor and Clinical Social Worker at Connecticut Job Corps Center/ITT and Connecticut Job Corps Center/Global Associates. In 2000, he was certified by the state of Connecticut to serve as a school social worker. Recently, he has prepared for social worker license examination in all states and served as School Social Worlker for the City of New Haven Board of Education. Currently, Mr. Hodel serves as an Adjunct Professor of Religious Studies and Philosophy at Albertus Magnus College.
