Burnett, Joan Cooper '04 M.Div.

The Reverend Joan Cooper Burnett is an ordained minister in the American Baptist Churches USA, and serves as the Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Middletown, Connecticut and as the Protestant Chaplain at Wesleyan University. Rev. Burnett is a member of the Board of Directors for The Children’s Home of Cromwell, St. Vincent De Paul Place, and Judah House.  Rev. Burnett holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Yale Divinity School, a Masters of Education in Human Resource Education from Boston University Graduate School, and a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
